Continued
Class
Participation |
The success of this activity depends on the
dancer's ability and the team spirit/positive attitude of both students
and parents. Professor de Vicente reserves the right to decide who
will continue to be allowed to attend class. Decisions will be based
on the student's ability and the attitude/behavior of both student and
parent. |
Participation
In
Shows |
A. Students will be selected for participation
in the shows based on their ability to dance. Students will
be selected to perform in the castanet ensemble based on their ability
to play the castanets. Class attendance does not guarantee student
participation in the shows. Professor de Vicente reserves the right
to make the final decision as to who participates in each show and in what
dance(s). This is to ensure continuous improvement in the quality
of the shows.
B. Once students are selected to dance
in a show, they must commit to participate in all rehearsals and remain
at the theater/presentation until the event has ended or until Professor
de Vicente has determined that dancers may leave. Rehearsals will
likely occur at times other than regular class hours. Students that
cannot commit must let Professor de Vicente know as soon as possible.
She will then decide if the student will participate in the show.
C. All students will be required to provide a security deposit for performance costumes. Deposits will be returned when costumes have been received by the Costume Coordinator after the show.
